Chelsea Pineda is an award-winning visual artist whose work spans photography, film, and writing. Her practice investigates cultural identity, lineage, and memory, and her debut project, Barako, has been exhibited internationally. She has been featured in The British Journal of Photography and It's Nice That, and won a Danny Wilson Memorial Award for Emerging Photography in 2024. Pineda’s work has been exhibited in the Vermont Center of Photography's Open Juried Exhibition in the United States, Photo Fringe Festival in the United Kingdom, and the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival in Canada.
Based between London and New York City, she holds a Master of Arts in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from London College of Communication.
